any good landscape/garden center or nursery that has water garden plants and fish. sometimes Aquarium/Pet stores will carry a water garden line of products for the beautification of your pond. Both type places are a good place to start looking. if no luck, try a search on the Internet. you may have to order them on line or through a catalog If you take from a local pond you may end up introducing harmful or intrusive things into your pond that may harm your fish and other plants.Examples may be.....Diseases that may harm/Kill your fish, leaches, duck weed or water chestnut ... all of them you don't want.store bought plantings are inspected and guaranteed disease/parasite free and guaranteed healthy.

The best place to go is a pond. No joke. Pick em' put em' in a pot and take em' home and put em' in yer pond immidiately. They mutiply from year to year so you may want to keep them thinned out, depending on how big your pond is.
