PG is generally all ages. It's the rating for Parental Guidance, but more kids movies are PG or even G, so I would have to say 12 and under since there is a PG-13 rating as well.

it is up to the judgement of parents, it really means that some scenes may be unsuitable for younger viewers but some films have that for strange reasons, for instance the Denis Quaid Lyndsey Lohan remake of Disney's The Parent Trap is a PG, we have that on video and we cannot understand why it needs a PG, I would imagine if a younger person wishes to go with their mates they would need to be 12 as that is the youngest cert given to films other than a U.

Well basicly to go to a PG film your parents have to see it first so then you can know if its scary for instance PRIMEVAL was a bit scary for young children with dinosaurs, giant spiders, ancient sea monsters, dodos, pterasaurs and a fearsome predator from the future coming through a portal to go back or foward in time and space. You might have to be over twelve (nearly your teenager birth) to watch films like DOCTOR WHO, PRIMEVAL, JAWS, and other spooky/creepy films that could take the mickey (or be serious) outof one film created by whoever so enjoy all that info about how to get into a PG film
ENJOY PG UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PG stands for Parental Guidance. Which means that at any age you can watch it but under parental supervision. Bit annoying for me as I'm 36 and my parents don't want to take me out anymore as I insist on going to a sleazy bar afterwards for a few whiskies and a boogie.

If you don't know how old you have to be to get into a PG movie, I don't think you should be going to the movie by yourself. Anyways, lol, I'm not exactly sure how old you have to be, I think 12.
