yes the jews were persecuted, tortured, and killed. but they were not the only people in history to suffer that much! Then why do they get all the attention especially when the state of israel is committing far worse holocausts against the arabs and muslims today, but you dont hear about that part of the story do you?

Ok, what exactly gives the Israelis the right to a homeland?
They were scattered throughout the world thousands of years ago. Apparently by their god who they must have pissed off royally.
So 1947-48 rolls around and all of a sudden they have a right to a homeland??? How does that work?
Can I claim a right to your house and walk in with a gun and force you out? Or do I need an old dusty set of scrolls where it is "written" that i have a right to your house.
Just asking cause i don't get it.
Please don't get me wrong I don't hate anyone, not in the least bit. So please try and avoid calling me names.
Doesn't peace start with atonement? And in this case would that start with the Israelis? The Arabs were just hanging out riding camels before 1947 living side by side with Jews in the land now called "Israel" Then all of a sudden the Jews (with the help of the Allied powers, who were punishing the Arabs for picking the wrong side in WWII) decided they had a right to a homeland and kicked the Palestinians out of their homes and off their land.

If one understands Zionism this is not to be anti Jewish or deny the holocaust . There are many Israeli's ordinary Jews, intellectuals, writers, soliders, even a pop singer who do not condone and speak out against the suffering in Palestine, Lebanon etc. We don't hear enough of the opposition.Zionism uses old Fascist methods - camps, walls , propoganda lies, fear , cluster bombs etc. backed by the super powers.. Hitler methods. But truth will out and there are those who tell it and ears to hear. And those who ask the questions like yourself.

Israel is the only Jewish State in the world since 1948 Israel has had to Fight for Survival. Israel is completely surrounded by here enemies. It is a miracle that Israel is still here!

Perhaps that's because it's patently untrue. What "holocaust" is Israel commiting? There are Arab members of the Knesset. Arab citizens of Israel have exactly the same rights as their Jewish countrymen do.
If you're talking about the situation in Judea and Samaria, as soon as the Arabs quit trying to blow up Israelis, there will be peace.

They got special attention because the UN decided that way.
Same reason one group or another might receive charity, or a gift, of any other benefit. The UN (back in the late 1940s) chose to help them, and chose not to help some other groups.
