Since the rest of the solar system is heating up, I would bet the Earth is too. The hotter the Earth gets, the more water vapor and CO2 we will have in the atmosphere, and the hotter it will get, right up until things start getting cooler, which could be now or next week, a month, year decade or century from now. Nobody, least of all crackpots like Gore, have one clue as to what is happening, and when it will change.

If you had half the intelligence that Gore has you would be working instead of squandering your time maligning him!

If you follow science at all, there are two basic philosophies, support the popular beliefs or companies, lie with your numbers and you will receive funding, or apply science purely, constantly challenging your beliefs and perceptions and let the truth lie in the numbers (also not get funding if you disagree with the popular opinion at the time)
The earth is warming, it is normal and it will cool again and it will be normal. Humans have essentially no role in the process and even if we were to nuke the earth into a wasteland, in a very short period of time geologically speaking the earth would be right back where it is now, albeit without humans. We cannot harm the earth, it is bigger than us, we cannot change nature and any attempts to do so will backfire to the detriment of humans.
Gore used CO2 as the premise of his lie, but he took a snip of the data that proved his point and did not use all of the data which shows conclusively that CO2 comes after warming periods and does not precede them, therefore CO2 rise has nothing to do with causing warming and in fact humans have a miniscule effect on CO2. Al could not make it work if he blamed the sun for the problem.

I believe the earth is getting hotter and I care deeply about the enviroment, however I get a little concerned when politicians become a spokesman for either side. We know that the earth is getting warmer, I mean half of the United States use to be a glacier during the ice age but did SUV's cause it to melt? I get a little upset when people refuse to debate the issue. If you try to bring arguments against man being the direct cause of global warming they get all bent out of shape like it's as proven that the earth is not flat. Scientists are split right down the middle as to what the cause is but it seems almost like a religion to some of these people. Some of these scientist that do claim it's the end of the world are also the one's recieving big $$ from the government to research this. How much money do you suppose they would get if they said it wasn't that much of a threat. People just please educate yourself, read different views of opinions and decide for yourself. Don't listen to politicians that make a movie that is one sided and who also claims "the debate is over"

We know something is happening. We may not no exactly what, why or when. But we do know the climate is changing.
We also know that some of the things we do can make it worse or better. Like having a fever. Some things we do makes the fever less severe, some increase the risk of harm. Even independent of the original cause of the fever.
So, if we can make things better, or at least not make them worse, by certain actions -- does it really matter if those actions are the sole cause or just a contributing factor?

Global Warming is rubbish. We are warming up due to natural causes. Many politicians are playing on this Global Warming theory and getting lots of support, because people these days are so "eco" friendly. That's the only reason politicians even care about it, because their constituents care. The problem is that the constituents are misinformed, they have the wrong information about Global Warming.

maybe it is maybe it isn't don't know. what i do know is that were screwing our water by dumping harmful chemicals in it. where using poisonous material to kill insects which also affect the stuff we eat. so maybe global warming doesn't exist we still need to cut down or stop all the bad stuff where doing here.
maybe humans aren't the root cause of climate change but we are the root cause of poisoning the earth...sorry if i sound like a hippy ( i hate hippies)

Looks like you answered your own question, amigo.
I posted a similar question on here about a month ago with the following link.
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/02/070228-mars-warming.html
You know, you could put undeniable FACTS in front of these hysterical global warming lunatics and they would still believe the hoax that global warming is man-made.
Unreal!!!

I can't believe it you got an answer from a liberal that tells the rest of us how they think.
" We know something is happening. We may not no exactly what, why or when. But we do know the climate is changing."
They don't know, but we are all lieing or changing the truth.
Thank you

Yep, I totally agree with that.
We don't know what will happen, when it will happen, whether it was our fault, or if we can do anything at all even if it is our fault. We just don't KNOW.
