If a catfish has forward-pointing whiskers, they are likely to be a predator - the whiskers are how they locate food in murky water - so he will most likely continue to bite the other fish.

there may be a point to this question after all.
if only to prove how stupid it is to get a fish without learning about it first....even the most placid looking fish in a tank in the pet shop can turn into the worst bully once in your tank.
sorry but it really annoys me when this happens, people should never try to keep a pet they know nothing about....and that they cannot describe accurately when asking for help.

you are able to set up a community tank with a team of categories of fish, yet they won't be chuffed. Tetras, barbs, rasboras, corydoras, and countless others are lots happier in communities of 6 or extra. some non violent fish would additionally start to have behaviors comparable to cichlids whilst saved via themselves. you would be lots extra ideal off in the long-term with 3 or 4 species, and small to great communities of each.

Catfish usually have whiskers but without a picture it is almost impossible to tell. some fish are more aggressive than others so i suggest going to a few petstores and asking what they think.

1. pardon? punctuation is your friend.
2. long feelers usually means catfish, is it white all over or just has white markings? how large is it now? there are hundreds of species of catfish, narrowing it down to one without a picture or more detailed description is near impossible
