Full term is considered 37 weeks. When you hear that a pregnancy is 40 weeks, that is an average. My first daughter was 10 days late from my estimated due date and then we induced. I induced my 2nd daughter 10 days early because her sister was a giant and I wanted to avoid that again.

a full term pregnancy is 38 to 40 weeks.
40x7= 280 approx.

the gestational period for a "normal" pregnancy is 32 to 42 weeks, every pregnancy is different because every woman is different there is no precise measurement of how long a pregnancy is.
