Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
At the present trend and form Australia are the hot favourite to win the world cup. However, South Africa, New Zeland and Sri Lanka are also capable of winning the same. Whichever team plays to their potential consistently from now on will be the ultimate winners.
