Yes. It slows down your computer and often is hard to get off. Sony was in a lawsuit recently because they were installing software that wasn't listed in the agreement licence to prevent people from copying the CDs of their games.

Spybot is a great, free spy sweeper. www.spybot.com Beware of some of them. They actually put some spyware on your computer. Spybot is free and on the level. They ask for donations.

Yep. I just use SpywareBlaster, keep it up to date, and keep the scanner, Lavasoft Ad- Aware SE Personal. If my computer runs slower than usual, which it rarely does, thanks to SpywareBlaster, I run my scans with Ad- Aware and take out the spyware that I have. Best of all, they're free programs you can download on www.filehippo.com under the "Anti- Spyware" category.

Yes I have had, you get it when you use broadband internet, if you get online through the phone, you don't get it. I got rid of it using the AVG antivirus and also by using Lavasoft AD-Aware SE Personal (both available in www.download.com). Greetings!!!!

Never,

Security polices and anti-virus, firewalls have been good for me. If someone gets them they are not doing enough background work to find out how to stop such things from happening.
