Mike Modano is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, American-born player in the league. Yes, he may be getting up in years for an NHL player, but considering that he's been in the league since 1988, he's put in a heck of a performance.

hi i became chatting with an exceedingly knowledgeable former person of Y/A that stated that it is a clean circumvention of the cap. because of Modano's age the 999,999.ninety 9 will count number adversarial to the cap even with him no longer taking area in a unmarried pastime. this may open Pandora's field a lot the way the lengthy run contracts did. thanks

The Flyers have always been my team, but I have always liked Mr. Modano. He's a great player.

I think he is a great player and really helps hold the Dallas Stars together. I was quite disappointed when Morrow was moved to captain...oh well...

Mo is one of the hottest players ever in the league. He just so happens to also be a fairly good player. Of course he is in the last half of his career but he can still score.

Love 'em. One of the best. Who cares if he's "old?" Look at Chris Chelios, and he's much older than Mike.
