I want to fight my red light violation as it occured by less than a fraction.
Fact is
At that time it was not me who was driving.
It was my car though.

I am going to mention that the photo is not clear to identify the driver.

Please give your experience /help me to fight this case as I feel it is not worth paying around $400 (in california fine +class fee) for an lesss than a second jumping the right turn red light.

There was a recent story in Odd News about a Judge in Australia who had the same problem. He simply wrote a letter that an American friend was driving his car at the time and the case was dropped.

The trouble was, a newspaper investigated his claim and found the person he named as driving his car had died three years earlier.

Check the county records, see if the camera is certified or has to be certified. Fight it! I hope you win.

In most cases if someone else was driving you'll have to provide that information. It's presumed you were, but if you weren't you SHOULD know who had your car at the time and only by providing a name of who was driving will they not come after you. Assuming you dont want to sell the person driving out you might try proving that you were somewhere else and couldn't have been driving.

Doesn't matter if you were driving or not. It's your car, your responsibility unless your vehicle was stolen and reported stolen long before the ticket picture was done.

Bottom line, if you don't want to pay fines, don't run red lights.
