My b-f-f Mariam was talking to this really bratty girl on her street.and that bratty girl was talkiing bout her me AND her before, behing our backs.Mariam confronted her and she said that she didnt say anything. but the issue is, that we hear her talking bout us everyday in tthe bathroom or at the cafeteria with her other gossippy friends. this all started when me and my b-f-f- Marriam tryed out 4 the talent show and made it, BUT they didnt so they keep gossiping. i know we shoulg ignore it but its getting worse and there whispers are getting louder, they mske us seem like crimminals, when we confront them they just pretend like nothing ever happened...what do we do,,,help!?

if you want them to shut up, hit them when they're not looking. bc it seems like they're too chicken to admit that they said anything about you guys.

Continue to keep ignoring them. The reason why these girls are spreading rumors about you guys is because you guys made it for the talent show and they didn''t. They are jealous. As the old saying goes "Everyone loves juicy gossip." The more you guys ignore it, the more they will realize that both of you are not bothered by what they are saying. Hang in there. What goes around, comes around so continue to stay focused and don't sweat the small stuff. I wish you and your friend the best and all is well for you guys.

people like that never change, trust me.
I knew this group of girls in the 7th grade (1997) who were gossipy brats. All they did was gossip and start stupid rumors. You know what? It's 2007, and I see them now and then at the stores. They haven't changed one bit. They still bring up stuff that happened 10 years ago. They're lazy and stupid. They both have minimum wage jobs, they complain about how their lives are worthless. Still they keep on gossiping. People like that don't change, it's best to just ignore them.

What you should do is ignore them and don't let their gossiping bother you, or at least don't let them know it bothers you. They may get bored and move on if they see it has no effect on you.
