I think she would be republican. More likely that she wouldnt fit within the confines of our bipartisan system and move more towards statism.

I agree with Vegan except, we know that JESUS would be Jewish because... *cough* He was a jew? :P

Ayn Rand herself said that she doesn't like politics (she learns a great deal about politics so that she never has to worry about it again). And that she would never associate herself with either political party.

So, we have mainly Democrats and Republicans. I don't know my parties very well, but assuming Democrats are the "liberals" who would be in favor of welfare and socialistic programs, I would think Ayn Rand would view Republicans as the lesser of two evils.

I'd guess more Libertarian/Classic Democrat in leaning... Republicans would seem way too socially conservative and fiscally irresponsible.
