When President Bush leaves office on Jan. 20, 2009 things will change. If the next President pulls the troops out of Iraq I think things will change drastically and it will NOT be for the better. Our reputation will be ruined. No country will fear us. We will truly become the paper tigers Osama Bin Ladin called us. We will appear to be cowards. I pray that this does not come to pass. If it does I don't know where the next attack will be but I know that attacks will happen not only here in the US but all over the world. Islam wants the whole world to be Muslim not just part of it.

First, I don't think that anyone who think himself at least as the average IQ guy, will ever confuse leaders actions with the opinion about the people of this country. If I don't like Bush, doesn't mean that I don't like US and its people..
Personally, I believe, that Bush admin coz so many problems not only on the field of foreign affairs, but mostly on the economy. And this is something that you can realize if you notice our daily life (and I don't mean US only, but globally). So, nothing will change, people's opinion about Bush if he pulls troops out now and nothing will change, people's opinion about US and Americans, if the new President pulls troops out. The only thing that may change, if the new President pulls troops out, will be people's opinion about the new President. People will find a leader that may trust.

That would depend on whether or not you feel that the US' reputation with other countries is worth anything. Contrary to popular belief there were many worldwide protests while Clinton was President. The world apparently enjoys blaming all problems on someone other then themselves and being the only superpower the US will always be the first choice.

First off, what the hell is "prestend"?
If they do pull them out, the next target will be the US or the or the Iranians will take over Iraq and then the US. It's a stupid move to pull out the troops.

You can't even put the simple word of "President" together. Bush will be President until January of 2009. Now get back to your English lessons, you suck at English and need the practice.

I assume you mean a new real ELECTED president in the USA, who would fill the office vacant since 2000? And someone who would assure the world and the American people by his/her ACTIONS that the USA has no imperial ambitions? That would go a good way to repair the damage of Dictator Dumbya, which can NEVER be TOTALLY healed.

You miss the point that we are not as concerned with our "reputation" as you are. We are concerned with the best interest of our nation, its safety and security. The best thing is not always the most popular. Yours or others approval is not our number 1 concern!

I don't give a damn about what the rest of the world thinks about us.....I do give a damn that we send a strong message to terrorists who would think about striking us again!
