My cycle is opposite than yours. I'll have a period every 2 weeks unless on birth control and then it's still very heavy but only comes every 28 days. I am an irregular ovulator, however, I ovulate from both ovaries. Naturally I'm sure you are talking to an obgyn about this but I had fraternal twins and 19 months later had fraternal twins again. I didn't check ovulating times and neither did the doctor. I think since I had my period so often is possibly why I was so fertile. Just a theory. Good luck to you. Don't get too stressed out. I have on friend that ovulated on the 31st day which is very strange. She tried to get pregnant for 4 years.

If you have never been a regular cycle girl, it is quite possible to ovulate twice in one month. Even if you are regular it is still possible. Every woman is different. I know one woman who has a 15 day cycle (2 periods a month!!). The idea of a 30 or 28 day cycle has a lot to do with averages and the pharmaceutical companies issuing birth control in 28 day packs.

Yes I got my period 4 months straight pretty heavy, so I took my uninsured butt down to PP and got on birth control. It worked and regulated my period, until 2 months later I got pregnant! My doctor said I might be running to cycles a month and thats why. The good news is you will have no trouble concieveing. Your chances doubled. (btw, I got a scant period twice in my first pregnancy, but continued on to carry a healthy 10 lbs baby boy.

It's definitely possible to ovulate twice in one month, especially if you have irregular periods.
Good nutrition can definitely help to regulate your cycles. There is a great supplement for women called Optivate PMT. I take it and it helps with PMS and also makes my fertility signs (mucus and temperature) more clear and reliable.
