Distributive property. I'm assuming that you are multiplying 12 times this trinomial... yes?

132/6x - 120/12y + 12/6
22x - 10y + 2

That's as far as you can solve this equation, if you meant to multiply the 12 by the trinomial.

12 ( 11/6 x - 10/12 y + 1/6 )
= 132/6 x-120/12y+12/6
= 22x-10y+2

132/6 - 120/12 + 12/6 =

12(132/6) - 12(120/12) + 12(12/6) =

264x - 120y + 24

im guessing you're supposed to multiply through by 12 if so the answer would be

22x-10y+2

Just multiply the twelve by each fraction inside the parentheses...
