I don't know about other people with above 10%, but I have 13% and, yes, I am better than you.

No, because "Best Answer" statistics are meaningless, since the criteria for choosing a best answer don't even exist. The best answer can also be the worst answer, or a wrong answer, or a single vote from someone for their own answer. It means nothing.

Likewise "Top Contributor" only means someone answered a whole lot of questions in a single category, and has nothing to do with whether or not they were Best Answers or even good answers.

Interesting question to say the least. In short, the answer is "No". There are a million reason why they are not better than you, but realistically, is it that important to you?

Perhaps, users that have a higher percentage of "Best Answers" are spending a significant more amount of time on each question than you.

Not necessarily it depends on how many questions answered. So the person that answers many question are most likely to have a low best answer but would no doubt become a top contributor first.

Not necessarily. It depends somewhat on the type of questions you respond to. If you respond to alot of things you disagree with your probably not going to get best answer no matter how great your answer is. If you answer alot of poll type questions that get 30/40 answers, yours will get looked over unless you say something witty. PLUS, there are cheaters out ther, my husband included, that wait till something goes in voting and choose themselves or answer older questions that have no other answers or say an answer, then when its in voting vorte for themselves.

That must be the case because we do give answers that people need and we take our time. Oh and even if we do have more answers it's still the same because it could lower if you're not getting best answers.

I have 153 best, 464 other, and 24% Best answer! Do the math.

Oh yes, lots, but only if they also have Orange Badges and drink Myers dark rum on the rocks with a slice of lime. ;-)

They just have more Best Answers, and when you get up to 10%, you get the orange banner, that they took away from 50% of us........

And no, I don't think ANYONE on here is better than the next guy.
