If an US citizen is arested out side of the USA, and he calls 911 do they have to help him contact the embassy? I was told they will discard youre call and wont help cause you are out side of the USA, is this true or does the 911 have an obligation to at least contact you with the embassy of th country?

911 is not a standard emergency number throughout the world. Being arrested is not a reason to call 911 anyway.

911 is a US phone system emergency line. Not global.
And it has nothing to do with legal services upon arrest.

But most countries are signatories to a reciprocal treaty with the US that says when one of their citizens is captured in a foreign country, that citizen has a right to contact the embassy of their home country and receive counsel from the embassy.

That issue came up a couple years ago, when the US denied access to the embassies for several foreigners who were convicted of capital crimes.

that number probebly won't work in other countries , you just need to keep your ambasy number listed in your phone if you sespect you be arrested while traveling hahahahaha

guess you just need to stay out of trouble else you shall find out if it's true or not
