in the summer i mow mine once a week to keep it neat and tidy and the more often you do it, the easier it is. in the winter i don't really mow it. just leave it grow and then when you cut it in the spring it'll be strong green grass which looks good!

Now is the time to start and once a week or fortnight, depending on how fast the grass is growing. If you let it get too long then you will have brown grass when you mow.

When you are cutting no more than 1/3 of the lenght on the grass. If you grass is 2 inches long cut it at no more than 3 inches. Cut it at night or early morning to avoid burning the ends and use a very sharp blade.

We have done one cut already about 2 weeks back. Now leaving it for another couple of weeks depending on the growth (which has not been much so far). Come mid summer and warm weather then you will be cutting every flipping week.
