Firstly Iran gave coordinates that put them in Iraqi waters!

Secondly vessels straying inside territorial waters are escorted out - not detained.

Have you not noticed that the whole world is calling them hostages!

Surely that illustrates to you that nobody outside of Iran believes the lies they are telling!

This can only hurt Iran and until they release the hostages it will go on hurting them. The letters supposedly written by the sailor are not what any non Iranian would write and are transparently dictated to her.

Iran is the one that has to admit it got it wrong and acted illegally. Until it does so it is just reinforcing the worlds case that it is a rogue state.

Britain does not believe their ship was in Iranian waters.

The Iranians gave a position that indicated the Brits were not in Iranian waters, then changed the position and gave the new position as the spot the Brits were in, and this only increases suspicion.

This is all about Iranian politics and sword-rattling. If the Brits had lost their way, why is that an excuse to grab them, imprison them, and put them on trial for who-knows-what?

Maybe the President of Iran knows once the world gets to look into Iran and see their clerics atrocities to the Iranian people, the Mujahideen s he hangs daily by the dozen will grab at hang him like Saddam.
His clerics would be trying to use AL TAQIYAH (lies to undermine western societies to cause unrest) so the world will look at their injustice instead on the atrocities they are hiding under their feet.
So why dont you apologise and no the British Navy has never lost their way nor their war

No, this is the high-tech era. The gps devices prove where they were. Even the Iranian authorities gave the correct coordinates at first, but then changed their story.
