Bias would be considered a strong opinion or preconceived perception of an event. An example of conservative bias would be the media reporting favorably on the administrations plans to invade Iraq, while an example of liberal bias would be depicting Bush stating "Mission Accomplished" in an unfavorable manner. It appears that a number of those who adhere to the perception that Bush can do no wrong, would like to believe that NPR is liberal, confusing factual information with liberal bias.

Liberal bias is a tendency for media outlets to report news that is only favorable to democrats and unfavorable to conservatives. NPR is pretty guilty of this. Most of their "anchorpeople" are liberals and they choose their subjects accordingly. Currently, I understand the went around interviewing wives of soldiers in Iraq and refused to show all but one minute of the tape, which led to the belief they had to edit out any statements that were favorable to the Iraq War. There's no real evidence of this, but editing hourse of film and interviews with a dozen wives down to one and half minutes seems suspicious.

Liberals believe the government can best provide for the needs of the people and is a solution to most of our problems. Accordingly, liberals favor higher taxes and social programs.
One of the most irritating liberal views is that an individual is never responsible for their shortcomings - it is always portrayed as a problem government should fix.
NPR, thru its selection of stories and slant on them projects a liberal view.
Conservatives believe that low taxes promote a vibrant economy from which all can benefit.

NPR, CNN, MSNBC, and pretty much every media outlet except Fox News is way WAY Hollywood left. All their hosts are Libs, and they cater to Libs. They do everything they can to undermine the Bush administration (which isn't the greatest but hey, he's still the boss) and to push the Liberal agenda.

Liberal bias is when they use words that are too big for conservatives to understand. Talk about important issues, or anything that challenges popular viewpoints.
