For one .... Gay marriage isn't reconized in the US (Thank God)
but lets say it was for a sec...
1) I would not go!
2)My son would not EVER have my blessing
3) My son would still be my son (i would not disown him)
but if him and his sgnificant other were to come over to stay they would NOT be aloud to sleep in the same room in my house
I would NOT be hateful to the Significant other
althoug i would make it perfectly clear i DO NOT condone homosexual activites in my house
would treat them as though they are a hetro couple
(i wouldnt let a hetro couple sleep in the same room either..
if your not married you have no buisness having sexual realations...)
I understand these thing do and will happen i just do not have to let them happen under my roof

I know this is not going to sit well with some people, but this is strictly MY OWN PERSONAL THOUGHTS.....I am not trying to open myself for personal attacks - so I hope that people here are mature enough to allow others to have an opinion: Mine is this - I am a believer in God and what Jesus has taught in the Word. I have been taught that we as believers must 'shun even the appearance of evil'. Now, the Word teaches that God loves the sinner, but not the sin. I would love my son, but I would not able to attend his wedding. Attending would be condoning a marriage between two men and the Word clearly says that this is an abomination unto God for he made man and woman to be married to one another and they become one flesh. Two men cannot. Notice people - I am not condeming or judging anyone or their beliefs about this issue - as for me and my house - we will serve the Lord and walk in His Word. Thank you sincerely.

All a parent can hope for is that their child is happy and successful. Why should that child's sexual orientation affect a parent?
