I am the wife.
This is directed at the crazy lady that keeps asking why her husband won't answer his phone..

i only call my husband at work when it is absolutely necessary. i don't understand it when women call and talk to their husbands all day long. They act as though they are more important than anything else in the world. i think they are just insecure with their relationships and need to constantly remind their husbands that they are there.
i would prefer that he keeps a roof over my head, food in the fridge, our kids clothed and any of the other things that come along. I know my husband loves me but I don't need to talk to him every minute of the day!!

I have a "friend" like this. Whenever her husband goes on military assignments (TDY's) he is expected to be on the phone with her at all times so that he can't go out and do anything. They've racked up over $500 phone bills on a couple of his trips. It's ridiculous to even listen to her justify her behavior. I actually don't call or hang out with her at all... she's just too crazy.
As for myself I hate talking on the phone with my husband because he's the worst communicator on the phone. I'm just listening to him breath the whole time. So whenever he goes on his trips it's not strange to go for 4-5 days without hearing from him. Obviously the other chick and I just do not click very well at all.

We both work so we are both keeping a roof over our heads, the days of man only working are probably over, with kids and everything, it is rare that both spouses dont work.Quit playing games and grow up and answer that phone!!! lol

Men are not hardwired to multi-task, it doesn't come naturally to them like it does to us. It's more important for him to keep a roof over your head than to stay on the phone chatting with you all day. I know sometimes he drives you nuts, mine does too, but it could be a lot worse.
