Does that mean that everybody is rich there?

NO. If you really lived in a town like that you would know the answer and not have to ask a bunch of non-residents that question.

In every town there are a range of income levels. They include people who lived there when the town was easy to buy a house in, those who live there beyond their income and hope interest rates won't get their house foreclosed, those who fit the definition of traditionally wealthy, and those who are there to be close to the floors they are hired to scrub.
