He's totally unique. I have seen a lot of his movies since "Edward Scissorhands", and I am struck by how different he is in all the different roles. To me the truly great actors are like chameleons, ( you know, the type of lizard that changes it's skin colours to blend with it's environment. )He blends in with his diverse roles. Johnny Depp is no sterotype.

He has been in a lot of great movies.
The only problem with Johnny Depp is he is always playing a wierd character.
I would like to see him switch his roles a little bit.
But for what he has been in he was always great.
My favorite was Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.

He's not just amazing, he's a genius when it comes to acting! I've never met (hehe,met) an actor who's as versatile as he is. Honestly speaking, i don't find him handsome but everytime i watch his movies, especially Pirates, i can't help liking him, that's how great an actor he is.

HE IS COOL, HE IS SEXY, HE IS NOT THREATENING TO MEN , HE'S A MAN'S MAN AND A WOMAN'S MAN. yes, by brother even knows a girl who has a SHRINE of him. He got her the Johnny Depp cutout for Christmas.
And for a project in French class, I did a project on his wife, Vanessa Paradis!!

Yes I do! It's amazing how different he looks in every movie he does! I loved Pirates of the Carribean 1 and 2 and in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory I didn't even recognize him!

I agree he's the best actor! I love how he doesn't play the typical heartthrob characters, he's played so many crazy characters like Edward scissorhands and he does it so well!!

i love how he can change his whole appearance and personality throughout each movie... with him.. he could be any character he wanted to..
i love him in finding neverland and edward scissorhands!

In Sleepy Hollow he was rather dark (but so was the whole movie). Welcome to Neverland didn't make much of an impression either.
I really think that he has really started to shine in Pirates of the Caribean, however.
