I love this movie! Even though the movie is a bit long, every thing else works. The music and lyrics are strong and funny and there is a lot of great humor. Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood and the entire cast are excellent! I still love the song "They Call the Wind Mariah".

Yes, great film.
Wandering Star is a classic. Can't think of anyone singing it like Lee Marvin. He was such a cool actor.

Great? uhhhmmm...no, but it does have the distinction of featuring vocal performances of remarkable quality by two of the most unlikely songsters ever to co-star in a movie. I do agree with your appraisal of "Wanderin' Star", however. Marvin's rendition is...memorable...I also like "They Call the Wind Maria", which is the really stand-out song in the whole musical.

Good but strange.
Given his acting history can you honestly see Clint Eastwood as a major musical star? and Lee Marvin's singing voice, I've seen smoother gravel paths.

I talk to the trees by Clint is the worst movie moment in history...................I think wandering star got to number 1, sung (or rather spoken ) by Lee Marvin.
