Marie Osmond to divorce after 20 years?

All those children, adopted and biological and now a second divorce?

I thought she was a devout Mormon?

I heard she was bipolar or something. Wonder if that has to do with it?

Did Marie's husband cheat on her, or something close to that?

Could it be that her husband has a roving eye? I've heard rumors to that effect. I've heard some things that, if I told, I could get other people in trouble.a

Yeah that's really sad for all those children, that is really going to effect them.

How anyone can be married 20 years, have 8 children and not work things out is beyond me. Her husband has an illness too and he stood by her when she had her mental episode where she ran off and left all her kids home with a nanny. I think it was depression after she had her last baby.

Anyway .....Geeezz these millionaire people have all the money in the world to make life easier for them. Nannies to care for the kids, housecleaners, cooks. They can have access to the best counselors if they need it. Not only that but think about it, they can take vacations away together etc. I mean none of the common stresses that most couples have to deal with.

Plus she is supposedly soooo religious and outspoken about her faith, shouldn't she practice what she preaches?? Family values and faith in God for example. What kind of example is it for her to just get a divorce when things are difficult.

Maybe putting so much effort into her doll empire and other celebrity work that takes her away from home are the cause of her relationship breaking down. She should concentrate on her husband, and her children. Put them first and she wouldn't have these issues. Surely that's what Mormons are about?? Not to knock all the Mormons who are true to their faith.

I read that her eldest adopted daughter left home at only 18, became bisexual, a goth, tattoo's, and into drinking etc. Plus two of her daughters had totally rude and vulgar myspace accounts.

Well life is tough and people do the best they can. Not one to judge others but when they stand on a soap box all their life and act so perfect and squeeky clean -- well people will judge you back.

I don't feel sorry for her, with all her millions. She'll be fine. Maybe she has another man in waiting. ha ha

I am not sure who that is, but I am a mormon, and you can still be a Mormon if you have a divorce. I know some wonderful Mormons who have been divorced. If you are a Mormon, you should try to work it out with your spouse, but if it is that bad, that you have to get a divorce, it is ok. It is not advised to be divorced, but if you do, you are not going to be exocommunicated or anything.

lt's sad if a couple has to divorce and all those kids. To think they have been together for such a long time.

lt could be the 'only' solution. They have certainly talked things out before separating.

20 years is a long time. Maybe it's something that they been wanting to do but just wanted to wait until the children got older. I read someplace where she was having alot of trouble out a couple of her teenage daughters.

Just because she is Mormon doesn't mean she is perfect.
