400 K video speed vs. 700 K video speed?

I am going to be purchasing MLB.TV , where you can watch the games on the internet. MLB.TV regular has 400 K video speed and MLB.TV Premium has up to 700 K video speed. I have a MAC OSX 10.4.8 with a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo. I may want to hook up my computer to my 48 in. TV. So my question:
Which would you recommend and can you please explain why?
