It is happened because your CMOS battery is not inserted correctly or your battery is dead.Try taking out the battery and inserting it again. You will still recieve that message.Press F2 and load default values. Then keep your PC off for almost 1 hour and turn on your PC again. If you still recieves the message, then you have to replace your battery.
Best of luck from JONNAN.

Make sure ... or better still , replace your battery . If you change it , shut off the power and unplug your computer. Use one hand to grasp the side of the tower ( this creates a ground , which is very important because computers don't like static electricity ) the battery is the round silver object and with your other hand you can release the battery. Most systems have a small lever which will "Pop" the battery out of the motherboard. After wards, when you run start up, enter your BIOS setup by pressing Delete or F10 depending on the system. Set your Bios settings to your manufacturers specifications and then press F10. The question should be , " Save to CMOS ?" When you set and save with a good back up battery , the problem should be removed. Good Luck.

Do what it says. Press F1 and enter setup. Once inside the BIOS, find the setting that says Load BIOS Defaults and execute that. Last, Save And Exit (usually this is by pressing F10). That should do it.

You can remove the CMOS battery then replace it again... This will clear the memory and the error message may cease..
