Well, since you are an independent contractor and work for yourself, the company should issue you a 1099 to file. Remember you can write off a portion of your rent, utilities, and car. Jennifer

Same as anybody else. If you're self-employed you'll need to file Form 1040. Attach Schedule C or C-EZ to account for any income and business expenses. If the net profit is $400 or more, attach Schedule SE to calculate the self-employment tax.

Assuming you are a sole proprieter (in business for yourself), you will use Schedule C, and file it with your Form 1040.
