You can go out with him, but just don't get all lovey dovey. Act just like you guys act now and you will be bffs when you break up. Talk on the phone a little more and hug bu otherwise focus on school and just basically act like friends. I'm 11 and i like boys a lot also but i know how to stay friends.

I know how ppl are saying that you are just 12, but at that age my best friend and I started dating. We did so until last year (9th grade) and broke up. Our friendship now is is not as good as it used to be, because of the fact that we knew we had more feelings for each-other not so long ago. So if you want to keep him close I would talk to him about it first, and really think about it. Friends are very good to have, and if he is a good one don't give it up for a relationship.

Young lady the only thing you should even worry about is school and homework and doing well in both. Dating can wait until your in your late teens. Just stay friends, if he likes you now he will like you more when you have gotten older and more developed. Does this make sense to you? School, Family and Church should be all you think about. Dating leads to other things and at 12 that is not on the menu for you.

You're only 12 and as I'm reading your question, its obvious that you aren't ready for a boyfriend. Its not obvious he likes you just because your friend said no. Hes probably hurt by that.

If you like him and he asks you out take advantage of it and say yes. You can still be friends with him if it doesn't work out. Just because you guys might not make a great couple doesn't mean you won't make great friends.

If he asks you out i would say yes other wise if yousay no he'll feel ocward and he wont want to be by you any more cuse he'll be imbarsed. If you break up have it be a friendly break up and say that you still want to keep your friendship going, sience you loved to hange out with him!

Not manty 12yo concentrate on their school work and y should they! Your young have fun and go out with him if you want.I've stayed friends with old bf's so if it doesn't work out u to can stay friends.
