There's something wrong with her. To publicly say that, "...never in history has fire melted steel."
That saying, amongst many of her other wacky theories in recent times, cannot possibly be a publicity stunt for her or 'The View'. At best, it makes her look stupid. Barbara Walters must be severely embarrased.
Any physics student, engineer or anyone with common sense can clearly tell that Rosie is becoming a Nut-Case. You have the World Trade Center weakened above the Mid-Point with multitudes of TONS of weight, ready to crash DOWN (not sideways). Weaken 2 maybe 3 I-Beam columns, now you have a problem. Add fire to the situation then you have a collapse.
If the terrorists were smarter, they woud have crashed the planes at the 30th floor and maybe the towers would have leaned over, and toppled, instead of "imploded" as Rosie describes (That bĩtch).

I stand corrected. It was Building 7. I was basing my info on the little "snippets" that the cable TV news selectively edits and displays.
I don't watch much of DayTime TV, being that I have a job at that same time, and my boss does not provide me television access while I work.

You have to get the facts straight if you are going to quote someone. I watched The View and Rosie was talking about WTC building 7, not the twin towers, which were attacked by terrorists using planes obviously. No one disputes that.
As for WTC building 7 which was not hit by planes, no steel framed skyscraper has ever collapsed due to fire, before or after 9/11, most people who find out about WTC7, believe it was brought down by a controlled demolition, even demolition experts agree.
It's her opinion and the opinion of many others.
I don't know anything about it, but I do believe in the US constitution and freedom of speech. She has a right to her opinion as much as anyone else.
If people don't like her, they shouldn't watch her show. I don't know why they do.

People are just looking to bash Rosie and get too much of their "NEWS" information from Entertainment news shows, like Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, or Fox News. They blur the facts and sensationalize every word Rosie says.
Seems like they hang on every word she says, then misquote it, to make it a bigger deal than it is. that helps promote their program with 'breaking news' of the day.
People are so gullible. It is Rosie's job, as well as the other hosts to share their Views! They make controversial statements and have discussions that provoke in order to make it interesting for the viewers who do watch and enjoy that kind of banter.
All the controversy simply promotes the show. They are probably loving it and the higher ratings since Rosie joined. It gets people talking, as this question proves.
Bash away but be fair about it. Stating things as fact that she didn't say doesn't make for a very good argument or discussion.
Thanks for your correction though. It was good that you did check up on the comments she actually did make. Not saying anyone has to agree with them, but we should realize that the best way to shut someone up, is to switch channels if you don't enjoy them.
With all the serious issues going on in the world, why are people so celebrity obsessed? If people weren't, maybe we'd actually have more real world news on issues that effect us all.

You question doesn't make sense and isn't based on fact. It makes you look ignorant. Check it out at You Tube if you want to hear exactly what she said before you go assaulting us with misinformation, bad grammar and comments that will soon be deleted.
She was talking aobut world trade center building 7, not the twin towers. Nothing hit wtc 7, they only had a fire. The bbc reported the building had collapsed before it even did. Interesting.

That show has 3 or 4 liberals with one conservative (Elizabeth Hasselbeck) It is so lopsided!

I have always loved Rosie O'Donnell -since she was on VH1 years ago-i think she is hilarious- but yeah lately it seems like she is becoming nutty-that whole mess she spouted off about 911 was just plain weird-she seems like an intelligent person but something is definetly going on with her lately...
