I would say RVD becuz in June he beat Cena and got the WWE title and the ECW title
But I think that Sabu is the best on ECW and deserves a push for the title, he could beat Bobby Lashley easily
In the years to come Elijah Burke, what a future this guy has in front of him....

My answer might not be anywhere near as popular as the usual suspects, such as RVD, Sabu, or (more recently) C.M. Punk, but I believe The Alpha Male is currently the best ECW superstar.
It's also my opinion that Lashley was chosen by Donald Trump as a way of extending his title reign instead of having to defend the belt against The Alpha Male, thus robbing the masses of a vastly superior match (compared to what Umaga vs. Lashley will be).

RVD and Sabu carry the torch for the old ECW still, even though it seems like they're slipping further and further down the pecking order in WWE.
As far as the ECW newcomers, I like Burke and CM Punk. They both have potential to make big names for themselves later and actually make the show worth watching.

Hmmmm....watch out for Elijah...he's got the mic skill Vince likes.
But Thorn could be a decent big guy cuz he can wrestle, but I don't think I've ever heard him talk so he must suck at that.
Sabu gets respect and Punk was force fed to the crowd. But I haven't watch ECW in about a month because of work soooo....

R-V-D, if not the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac, Sabu. Both of these superstars just fly off the top turnbuckle, not caring about their lives.

Today-CM Punk. RVD doesn't get the pop like he did before.
Do you hear the crowd when he comes out? Truly makes ECW watchable.
