My favorite was a toy John Deere tractor, with all the implements. It's kinda beat up and the accesories are gone but I still have the tractor sitting on my shelf. They don't make toys like that anymore. The thing weighs over half a pound. Solid metal.

My favorite childhood toy was probably a little pink and blue stuffed horse that didn't look too much like a horse. Now it is sitting in my ten year old sister's stuffed animal bucket in the back of her closet.

My favorite childhood toys were my medals, awards, and trophies. I liked to shine them and put them up and admire them. When I had the time of course. I only had them because I was such a competitor and so I was always competing! Spare time was scarce. Now, they're all on dozens of dressers in a room downstairs.

I sat here trying to think of one special and there is none. In fact I do not remember any toy that was just mine.
Boy I guess I missed out on something. I am not sure what but there must be something.

Never thought about it until now.

My Raggedy Ann doll.
I still have her. She's bald now and naked and her button eyes are scuffed. I've re-attached her arms so many times that her 'reach' is shorter by 1 inch!
I love her and she sits on a little corner shelf in my bedroom next to the hubbys fire engine (that used to have working hoses). Raggedy is over 40 years old now.....

A teddy bear and it is sitting right behind me. Looking much the worse for wear after 50+ years but since it was my only friend many years ago I am keeping it to one day make that final journey with me.

A train. One day I layed the tracks in the bathroom, and it fell in the water when I tried to build a bridge over the tub. It rusted, and never worked again :(

my 7th birthday in 1977, I got the ginat Mazinga robot with the darts that shoot from his fingers and the space ship in his head. It got lost during our move to Chicago, but I bought an original on ebay 2 years ago for my son, cost me $300 bucks though.
