The room is filled with different kinds of people, not all of them are gays.
I've seen masculine gays and they pretty much look like just another man... some are even more mascular in built. If you don't know them, you wouldn't know that they're gays. Same also with feminine lesbians, they look pretty much like just another woman. Nothing spectacularly different.

I honestly don't know. Some may have 'gaydar', but sometimes just stepping out on a limb will help. If you get turned down, then you know the person was not a homosexual!

We've all got homing beacons that send out pheromone waves to other homosexuals, then we flock together in a corner and only come out for a cigarette or a drink.

Seriously, I think you just know. A shared glance, a wink, a small smile. And as for attracting each other, that's something that just happens naturally, depending on the person!

It is not about their sexual orientatoin. It is that unspoken chemisty which ATTRACTS.

It is about 2 people. PERIOD. Why do two straight people hook up in a bar full of people? The chances of 2 people hooking up are the same ratio. NO matter what

See "gaydar" in Wikipedia for an explanation of how we identify each other. Aside from that we wear "pride gear" *flashes bracelets and lesbian symbol choker to all* = )

I always avoid "rooms filled with people". All that pressing, rubbing, fondling... No thanks.

And, I hear their calls, but am not attracted. The park is much nicer, with no smoke, no stench of stale perfume.

Bicycles. That's it, Bicycles!

I make eye contact. If I get several looks back I try a wink and a smile and so do they.
