yes the main sign shown when a baby is teething is tht he starts chewing on everything, because their gums start to itch, drooling is common too and pain is not present when a baby is teething, its mainly drooling and chewing.

If he is drooling a lot and chewing on everything...i'd say yes he most likely is teething. The cold is a separate issue and is probably why he isn't sleeping well. Babies breathe through their noses and when they get stuffy, it becomes difficult for them to sleep. Try some saline drops in his nose and suction out as much mucous as possible before bed. Good luck! I hope your little guy is feeling better soon!!!

It probably is teething. The drooling, chewing and slight fever are all signs. Diarrhea is also a common sign to watch for. If he is in pain, I have found motrin to work better than tylenol. Motrin has anti-inflammatory properties that tylenol does not have and that really helps with the tender gums. Good Luck

It's entirely possible. Each child is different, but you'll get some varation of drooling, hands in the mouth, EVERYTHING in the mouth, crankyness, sleeplessness, runny nose, low grade fever, and some VILE diarrhea. Run your finger along his gums, they may look swollen, but you should be able to feel a hard little bump or two under there.

It sounds like he is teething. My daughter also got a bit of nappy rash too! She was also teething for ages, from about 3months old to 8months when the first tooth finally came through so it can be a very long process.
Good luck
