When George Lucas started writing the series... the INTENT was to make it a Trilogy of Trilogy... in THEORY, next would come Episodes 7,8, & 9.
They would deal with the rebuilding of the Republic and the Jedi, and the Children of Lea and Han.
SADLY, given the production time and Mr. Lucas' new focus... AND the aging of Lea, Han, and Luke (it HAS been 24 years since "Return of the Jedi")... it doesn't sound like he will ever get around to making those films... though he HAD made hints of a Star Wars based TV production.
I'd LOVE to see Lucas do it though... Episode I WAS alittle off... Jar-Jar made me grind my teeth... but it WAS all prologue.

Episode 3 completes the Prequel Trilogy and the whole saga. There is the Original Trilogy after Episode 3. (IV- A new Hope, V- Empire Strikes Back and VI- Return of the Jedi). So my answer is yes. In case you are asking "Whats next after Episode 6 (not 3)?" There will be none according to the Director himself George Walton Lucas II. The saga consists of 6 episodes only. Most of it focuses on the life of Anakin Skywalker of Tatooine.

The original plan was to make episodes i, ii ,iii, vii, viii and ix, but because of the critical beating that the prequels got, the sequels were canned.
There's going to be a live action tv show that takes place between revenge of the sith and a new hope involving minor characters from the series. Its slatted to run for 100 episodes and Lucas is aiming to have it on screens some time around the end of the decade.
=)

There's Episode IV - A New Hope
Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI - The Return Of The Jedi.
There won't be any more films after that, though there is going to be a TV series.

i know george lucas are working on the fillers between 2 and 3. it's an animation series on the clone wars. as for movie, i hope he won't do any more movie cause look what happen to rocky... rocky balboa... i think as a fan i will only stick with the original trilogy and the pre-quel trilogy is forgivable as i do like to know how does darth vader turn to the dark side.
anymore project on star wars must be an isolated project (not something involving the skywalker) the novel and graphic novel is good enough.

To out dud the last three?
Not possible mate- Lucas sucked last three times and for all trilogies or epics, a very hard act to follow after the Lord of The Rings.

I think that if there is any chance of that, It will have to be a prequel movie that shows how the Jedi came into being. That would be cool. It could take place maybe 1,000 years into the past of the fourth movie. All new characters. All new actors.
