Just in case people don't understand best and worst insults. My brother asked me this question last night, but I couldn't give him an aswer, as I've never had the opportunity to really insult anyone (I have never had need to).

I tend to close off arguments rather than fuel them.

"I hear what you say" works for me, becuase I haven't said I agree or disagree, and doens't invite any amplifaction from the other person. And everyone appreciates that it really means "f you"

Best: In High school a kid told me I would be someone that would shoot up the place (this was a year or so after Columbine) and I told him I woulldnt hurt a fly or anything... but if that did happen you would be the first person I would go after.
Needless to say, that didnt go over too well with him, my teacher had a smirk on her face and told me to stay after class as did him. We talked and said I shouldnt have said that, but he shouldnt have brought it up.
To the same guy, he called me a dyke and I said at least I dont take it up at the *** like you do. He was shocked, and found out later that he was "bisexual" from what my gay friend told me.
Worst Come back: Whatever... talk to the left hand cause you aint right is another bad one, but its funny though.

The best comeback I have ever said was "your a dumb *** whore who can't keep your boyfriend because he is always cheating on you. You can't keep your legs shut and you have too many STDs." The worst comeback I have ever said was a racial slur and I was so angry and upset I didn't realize I was insulting my own race. BOTH comebacks were said to my sister. We are very close as you can tell.

the following is a robust one,my pal instructed be he heard this. He heard 2 freshman in the hallway. one in each and every of them says,ah i did to not my homework,or some thing like that. the different one says it is what she says. No,come on that would not even make experience, its no longer even close. This extremely isn't a comeback, yet i assumed it became stupid lol.

The best comebacks are always the ones you think of later that you should have said, and regret that you didn't, about five minutes after the argument.
The worst are always the ones you say in anger to a friend, and regret that you did five minutes after the argument.

The Best:
I was in sixth grade, and my classmate had been slapped (I have no idea why) by another kid outside of class. So later on that day, he kept on telling me to shutup, really annoying me, so I told him: "Don't get yourself slapped again." Kind of proud of myself. :)
The Worst:
I really think that was the only good comeback I've ever come up with. "Your mom", "Your face", and "Shut up" are all I can really makeup most of the time. :)

My exbf once said I neglected him , and thats what causes guys to cheat. I said "Being a man **** causes you to cheat." apparently the people in the booth beside us found that hillarious they started laughing hysterically.

My worst comeback would probably be hitting my older brother when I was speechless during an argument, he kicked my ***! I really needed to check myself then !

It's difficult for me to understand why people argue in the first place. No one wins an argument, and it is really an exercise in futility and a waste of energy.

Saying "I'm sorry" shuts them up every time, and ensures that you have the last word. And in the worlds of Antoinne Merriweather..."and I'm through!"
