Goto start run and type cmd.

When CMD opens type ipconfig.

When you get e-mail right click on that it will open property and click this tab now you will see two tabs on top Click the second one( I got Japanese version therefore can't tell you the name in English) you will see full header Click on Message Source at the bottom
Now you can see full message and minor details ip is similar to this 209.9.184.100 this ip is from spam mail:
If you really want to have fun, right click the message when you had clicked the Message source Tab and copy it full.
Then click the link I have given below and paste that mail there
choose Trace an e-mail I had received click Start.
Then the Magic Will begin and you will know who and from where the mail is sent,

Why not send an e-mail to yourself then follow the above procedure and check. You can trace any mail. On the same web site you can find many interesting items too.
