What is, IS, regardless of the endless number of answers. Somewhat a foolish endeavor, don't you think? When a question arises from within me, my first thought is, "I must be bored", or that I wish to rearrange what is. Of course nothing that IS will change, the only difference will be that I have created a story and mental movie in my mind about what IS. Sometimes I en joy doing so, other times, it is a real pain in the behind. Oh well I really do like variety......

I like finding you! I mean myself :-)

I find it annoying but magical that it has been created to seem so complicated before attention to it is given. That is however, how I came to know me from you. It is, as you say all the you's out there that know I. And hence we question ourselves until we either die or understand how to live in the love of what is going on. :-)

You think too much! Just kidding. I've done a little informal poll about those who are the most curious. There are exceptions to this rule, but for the most part, First-born children are the ones who want to know; WHY, HOW, WHEN, WHERE, WHO. Middle-born children are somewhat curious, but not enough to ask. The baby of the family thinks, "if it's important, someone will tell me about it".
My grandfather was a first-born and was an inventor. He held two patents and employed one of his younger brothers. The other younger brother wrote a book on how great he thought his oldest brother was.
This is just one of many examples making my point. Again, there are exceptions, but look at history. The first-borns had to make their way in life. The younger sibs had the path already cut before them.

The last time I heard the question about what "is" "is" was when Bill Clinton said it. I disagree with you. You can change what is. It is up to you at the moment to accept where you are or to change your surroundings or circumstances. We have a choice.
