Hi everyone, Was just wondering how many of you are as excited as I am that opening day of Baseball is just a few days away? Is there anything better or more exciting than the start of a new season? I am a die hard Red Sox fan! I just made it to my first game last year (the last one of the season) it was the most amazing expierience. I doubt I will make any games this year as I am 8 months pregnant, but dont even care! Lets go RED SOX!

Hey Lindsey: You're right. Opening Day is like a national holiday in this household. Kids stay home from school and we all pile in the car and go to the game. Nothing better than a beautiful sunny spring day and the first game of the year when every team is undefeated and has a chance to go all the way. Hope springs eternal.
Don't let having a baby stop you from going to a game. My son was only 5 months old when he went to his first game. Mike Schmidt hit a HR in the 8th inning off Lee Smith and the Phillies beat the Cubs. Not that I remember all that clearly.

I've never been to a major league game. But I love it when Baseball season starts. I'm pulling for the Twins. I think they could have a very good year this year.

Opening Day is my favorite day of the year, this year especially because my team is playing on ESPN so I can watch. Let's hope for a repeat guys.
