I am trying to figure out the cheapest way to move from FL to upstate NY. Are there places to find out if you can share a moving truck ? I don't have that much stuff to go. Thanks :)

LOL. I've lived in upstate NY before. Did anyone tell you that the humidity in Florida is WAY worse than the cold in upstate NY ? :)

Rent a U-Haul. They have everything from small trailers to pull behind your car or a big truck to fit everything in your house.

Rent a U haul trailer to pull with your car. Depending on your car, you may have to have a hitch installed.

It is all a matter of what you can tolerate in terms of weather.

Good luck on your move.
