Yes he is in charge of it and one of the reasons that Walter Reed is in such terrible shape is the Republican Senate took a contract won by the military and took it back, giving it to the private sector! They care about profits, not fixing buildings or providing services!
He is also in charge of the VA Hospitals that he cut by $100 Billion in 2006. Bush claims there are 23,000 wounded in Iraq! Then why is the VA treating 105,000 wounded from Iraq as I write this????
And like in all wars, they are not being taken care of.

the issue with that mission is that Bush and Cheney ought to acquire particular interest and ought to apply the activities as photo ops to declare that the care at Walter Reed became now perfect. The underlying difficulty is that the Bush administration in no way planned for the outcome of its misconceived war in Iraq. in the course of the almost 4 years after the invasion, it became inconvenient to cope with the extremely expensive difficulty of the care of wounded infantrymen so the Bush administration left out it. The Bush administration has continuously tried to shrink the war expenditures, guard its tax cuts and keep away from communicate of the lengthy-time period expenditures. It took the determined efforts of Washington submit journalists to deliver this difficulty to the customary public’s interest and now obviously the Bush administration looks bowled over to locate the issue that it created and left out. Now Bush appoints a fee, fires officials and acts as if he ought to no longer have properly-known some thing about this earlier. no longer some thing about the Iraq war has been open and truthful from earlier its inception to the cutting-edge notwithstanding the ignore of the after-care remedy of the wounded has been exceptionally shameful and disgusting.

Wow Paul ... that was quite a stretch, but here's another one:
On the steps of the Capitol, George H. W. Bush prayed his own inaugural prayer:
"Heavenly Father, we bow our heads and thank you for your love. Accept our thanks for the peace that yields this day and the shared faith that makes its continuance likely. Make us strong to do your work, willing to hear and heed your will, and write on our hearts these words: 'Use power to help people.' For we are given power not to advance our own purposes, nor to make a great show in the world, nor a name. There is but one just use of power, and it is to serve people. Help us to remember, Lord. Amen."
Fast forward to his televised Address to the Nation speech with a gleam in his eye:
"I am a War President. That's what I am. A War President."
Where's FEMA when you need it?

FEMA? To fix problems at a VA Hospital - I don't think so.
Just think, if HILLARY wins, we all get the same treatment at best! Learn from these events!

FEMA wouldn't have anything to do with that... and I think it is sad in this society when they take volunteers and corrupt their position....If you don't feel FEMA's response was quick enough then go volunteer or apply for a job so maybe they will have more people for a better response time.
