I love Pachebels Canon in D. I love it if it's played on piano or on strings or any way it's done. It gives me goosebumps.

I sound ignorant because I don't know how to spell the name of the composer, but Canon sends a tingle down my spine everytime I hear it. I admit that I rarely choose to listen to classical music, but when I do happen to hear it, I am always suprised how emotive and inspiring it can be. I may just pop out and buy a classical album now. Thank you for giving me the idea

I'm so ignorant, I have no idea what it's called. All I know as it was used on a wool advert in the UK about 20 years ago, there was a big sheep walking on a carpet. I heard the full version on TV last year, it really makes me shiver, does anyone know what it's called?

Loads of different pieces come to mind but Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni is among my faves. I could cry just thinking of it.
