Yes, and he won't tell you that he cut the VA Hospitals by 100 Billion in 2006 and gave a tax cut to the rich!

Bush also claims 23,000 have been wounded in Iraq! If that is the case, why is the VA treating 105,000 wounded from Iraq?

The visit in itself was a terrible example of "Dog and Pony" show or Photo Op. The hospital was ran by the military. Guess who is the Commander and Chief. Once Harry Trueman said the bucks stops here. Perhaps President Bush should heed to his predecessor's advice.

Who goes to war; without having means to protect, and secure medical attention for the injured soldiers.

I've seen some story circulating about Bush visiting an amputee at Walter Reed a couple of years ago and saying a prayer for the guy and kissing him on the head. It is told to show Bush's compassion, I guess.

But I think the story shows how weak a leader Bush has been. Instead of doing something, he prays. BFD
