I need to cut the cast iron pipe what do I use

use a sawzall with a diamond grit blade. 9 times out of 10 you won't have the room to use a chain cutter. Don't force the cut, go slow, buy 2 blades.

Why do you have to replace this pipe? A pair of ratchet cutters, for use in tight places might work, provided you have access to the pipe. Is this pipe above the ground or below it? Unless the pipe has rotted through, I don't see why you would need to replace it. The sawzall method will take a long time, and several blades. If you are going to replace the cast iron pipe with PVC pipe, remember, that cast iron pipe has a smaller outer diameter than PVC, so a cast iron to PVC no-hub adapter is required, for a good fit. Don't use a Fernco rubber coupling, it could start to leak.

Use a saws all with an abrasive blade made specialy for cutting cast iron.

Plumbers use a special purpose tool called a chain breaker. You can rent one or go with a coarse metal blade on the venerable reciprocating saw. RScott

Cast Iron Cutter you can rent one you will need lots of room to use it. a small grinder will do the job.

Many choices. You can rent a snapper to cut it. Use a saw-zall. Grinder (be sure to wear eye protection). Portable band saw.

the answer above me looked good until she said not to use a fernco. try a flanged wax ring, if that doesn't work, do like she said, but USE A FERNCO. make sure you torque it to 30 psi
