I'm 21 and have been with Michael for about 2 years. He’s the sweetest, most romantic and thoughtful guy I've ever known. He’s got a steady job but a salary that doesn't allow for many luxuries such as diamond rings etc.I met JJ 18 months ago at a club and I was instantly attracted to his confidence and wealth. I’ve been with JJ for 18 months but aside from the many expensive presents he gives me on a regular basis, I haven't got much of a reason to stick around most days because he treats me like a sex object more than a person most of the time as if my looks is all I have to offer a guy. Recently Michael proposed to me and even though the ring, which he had been saving up for for 6 months to buy was far below what I've gotten accustomed to the proposal was beautiful. He’s a great guy and wowed to do everything in his power to make me happy if I agreed to be his wife but I don't know if I'm ready to give up the luxuries that come with being JJ's girl. What would you do?

It's obvious that neither one of these guys are giving you what you want and need, not in one complete package, so my advice is....move on. If you "settle" for either one, you will not be happy in life, and marriage to them. You need to keep looking until you find all you need in ONE man.

I think in time you would see that all the luxuries the JJ gives you will only last for a while, then the new will wear off and you'll constantly keep looking for more. If you love Michael with all your heart and you both make each other very happy, why would you sacrifice that???? Money is the route of all evil, ya know. Do you really want to be considered a sex object all your life (or until he gets tired of you and finds the next one?)
Then again, if Michael doesn't know about JJ, then I'm not sure you need to be marrying anyone at all. If he ever found out, he would lose all trust in you and it would most likely be over. Especially since you've kept it secret for 18 months!! That's cruel. If Michael is such a great guy, then he deserves better than you. You need to straighten up so that you can have a happy life. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!!

If I were you I would tell Michael no. Then I would explain to him that you are a very selfish woman that he really don't know that well and he deserves better. You really need some time to grow up before you get into a marriage. You are only going to end up hurting this Michael guy. And I really think that JJ is using you for the piece of trash that you made yourself sound like! Do Michael a favor and break it off with him and go with JJ and use him for his money the same way he's using you for sex. You have allready wasted 2 years of Michael's life so do him a favor and don't waste anymore! Oh and by the way, you are a ho!

You need to work out what you really want. How do you want to feel at the end of the day? Do you want to feel like a "sex object" with a big diamond ring? Do you want to feel cared for but not so rich? I am not a woman, but I have had money and gifts thrown at me before by a woman I dated that had a lot more money than I did. I felt used and like a whore, even though I had fallen in love with this lady. This really hurt me.
How do you feel about YOU? Who are you? Do you know? If you don't know, you can put off the decision, but it's fair keeping Michael on a string for long.

From reading your posts it sounds like you are not only a whore, but a total loser. You put so much emphasis on material things, you cheat on your boyfriend, and then you diss your lover. You need to stand back and look at your priorities in life. You will never be successful until you realise that relationships are not built and maintained on diamond rings, nice cars, and whoreing around. Until you change your life you will experience the heartbreaks that life will offer, but will dish out to you. Diamond rings are so temporary, after awhite even they are an every day occurrence. Luxuries, whoreing around, this is what you call a life. I feel so sorry for you, because your life will be so miserable.

What if you finally found someone you love, and that person cheated on you or don't even appreciate you as much you appreciate him?
Think about it...
you maybe a pretty girl, fashionable, very attractive to male, but you dont have the inner beauty...sorry...not at this moment
trust me, I may sound lame, but physical attraction tends to fade away as you are getting older, but inner beauty stays forever...

Honey, if you're asking us what to do, you don't want to get married. You don't deserve him (the hard worker). Go ahead and be with Mr. Sugar Daddy, if that's all it takes to get you spiced about a guy, I feel sorry for the guy that marries you. You need to wait about 5 years and grow up.
