I know it's by Queen, but my boyfriend told me the other day that it's not Freddie Mercury who sings lead vocals, it's another member of the band. I don't believe him, because I think it sounds too much like Freddie Mercury - please help me prove him right or wrong!

It is definately Freddie Mercury. You can check videos on youtube.
One of the great thing about Freddie is that his voice has a wide range of sounds. He sang the high falsettos to the low as he did in Bohemian Rhapsody. Also from singing like he did in the early 70's when their music was more heavier rock to the voice he had when he sang more of a pop sound in the 80s. In the late 80's he was involved with Monserrat Caballe singing opera songs.
HIs voice was incredible!

I even have sung in choirs all my existence. I even have had voice classes. i recognize what to realize for and what to depart on my own. I additionally recognize a thank you to examine the song so i recognize precisely the place i ought to be. i'm no longer caught up, I purely recognize a stable singer as quickly as I hear one. in case you sound great, i will inform you so. in case you suck great huge putty balls, i will inform you that too. purely tell them which you may plenty quite have razor blades shoved on your backbone, than to take heed to them "sing" yet another be conscious. lol
