any one care to help me ?! i have to write about this for part of my essay... I found many sites that have really long bios of him... i just want something simple and easy to understand... does anyone have any good sites? Also, i dont mind if you answer my question without giving me sites, like just info that you know.. thanks alott! x

--his works were key in the development of the Renaissance, the Scientific Revolution and the Reformation
--financially unsuccessful
--voted in 1999 as the man of the millenium because it was through him that the common person could read books which began the advancement of communication and was the beginning steps to what we do today with the various communicating devices which began with the inspired desire for all people to effectively communicate with each other easily and efficiently.

The Ransom Center at the University of Austin has a copy of the Guetenburg Bible whidh was printed in 1454 or 1455. The Bible was the first book published on the Guetenberg Press. The Guetenberg Press was the first first press to have moveable type. It was located in Mainz, Germany

There are only 21 copies known to be in existence of this Bible and 5 of them are in the United States.
