Answer honestly; Men do you find older women attractive? Women do you find older men attractive?

I am spinning this question off of a previous question from someone else about women who found older men sexy. Just trying to get both sides on your views on this.

Mutual attraction has very little to do with age . It is a function of the respective persons' state of mind and socialisation habits.For example, if a man is brought up in a culture where elderly women are respected as of the rank of mother or elder sister, his encounter with the most comely lady elder to him will produce only a salute of respect. But after some bitter experiences with elder women's conduct, it is possible that the person's belief system would have undergone an upheaval, and he may be inclined to treat all women of all ages equally. Such a person, or one who is brought up with such a value system, may find himself inclined to be attracted to a beautiful or otherwise sexually attractive woman elder to him.
The same would hold good for women too, though younger women marrying elder men has never been frowned upon. At best it brings forth words of sympathy for her, on the assumption that she is soon going to have a crisis at home.I know several women who had elder partners and happy life, as much as I know so called perfectly made for each other couples struggling to keep up or having annulled the alliance within the first five years.

Attraction isn't just based on appearance. I met my spouse over the telephone while working at the same company. We didn't actually meet face to face until three weeks later (and twenty three days worth of lengthy phone conversation). What I found attractive was the tone of voice and the character of the person I married 8 months after we met. 8 years later, I still find those qualities attractive. Physical beauty is truly skin deep, but character lasts forever.

Now as far as apearances go, the general concensus of my female friends (ages 16 to 60) is that Sean Connery is one handsome devil. He's in his 70's and a shining example of an older man who is extremely attractive to younger women. In fact, stories abound of his prowess with the fairer (and younger) sex.

As for women and older men, it used to be the norm in relationships. In the old days, a man had to establish himself in an occupation before he could afford to take a wife. The best wives were young and in their prime childbearing years.

Demi Moore's a prime example of the older woman snaring the young stud. She'd been in a committed relationship with Ashton Kutcher for years before they finally married.

It really all depends on the two people involved. It's either there or it isn't - young or old - doesn't matter.

Older guys are definately more attractive than younger guys but then again I'm not in a long term relationship so maybe I'll like a younger guy in the end. I wont go for a boiler ticket again though - that's too old. 10 years older is the max now at my age.

yes, i do find older men attractive . but older as in 10-25 years older than me , not someone who is 87 years old . i dont find younger guys to be attractive at all. . .

I do find some older women sexy. But this is some NOT all. It depends on the person.

My first boyfriend was 10 months younger that me. First husband 6 months younger and new husband 13 almost 14 years younger by 2 weeks only. :D. I have always preferred younger guys to date. The reason is I found something in common with the guys I dated and age didn't factor in to my decision.
