The government wants you to be afraid, so they can control you. With you, it's obvious they are succeeding.

Corporations want you to be afraid, so you will compulsively spend and buy, and again, it seems they are succeeding with you.

Group paranoia instigated by corrupt leaders is a pattern perfected by Adolf Hitler and imitated by G.W. Bush.

You are a frightened pawn, and I am sure that our country's founders would be nauseted to see us tremble for the current tyrant's pleasure.

Concerned, not scared. As I've gotten older I honestly believe like my parents did that no one goes before their time. Some may make no sense to our limited understanding. But that doesn't mean there is none. There are so many things in this world that could happen before being in a terrorist attack. 20/20 had a special on that, that helps put it in perspective. Yes, it is serious and needs to be taken more so by the powers that be in government. The very fact there hasn't been any others is more shocking considering how many ways it could happen. But to be so afraid means maybe you need to know the Prince of Peace a little more personally.

No I'm not scared in the sense that I'm fearful every moment but I do believe terrorists will attack America again. Only this time I hope we get it right and don't screw around and play the nice guys.

It only took us 23 days to take Iraq, why the heck are we still fighting over there today? Because we want to appease everyone and we think it's our job to give the world democracy.

I fully support our men and women serving in the Armed Forces but if there is another attack on American soil, I pray we aren't as nice as we've been!

I lived in Germany during the height of the cold war. Terrorism was fairly common -- not mid-east, but Bader-Meinhoff, Red Brigade, etc. We used to have PSAs (public service announcements) on AFN TV and Radio about being vigilant. So, most of us were, but most of us certainly weren't going to stop going and doing because of it.
Yeah, I think they'll try again (and probably already HAVE tried again). Yeah, at some point the odds are in their favor that they'll get through.
Do I worry. Not really. I get on a plane, go where I want (or can afford) to go and live my life. Because, if you don't do that THAT'S when the terrorists win.

As many stated above, I am not scared but am concerned that the terrorists will continue to try for another attack on US soil.

I consider the odds fairly good that they will eventually succeed with another attack and am ready to face that. I continue to try to instill in my family this fact and make them understand the consequences and how we should handle it, especially if it takes place near us.

Yes, I am afraid. All the people being let into our country. They (not Americans) already have stations set up all over America. A lot of people just don't know it. Good for you for speaking up and letting others know you're scared. I'm sure there are more people out there that will feel better, just knowing they aren't alone in their feeling scared too. A lot of people seem to pretend like everything is alright. Thinking or pretending like they wont get us. This is America, can't get me here. They need to wake up! Look around! It's not getting better! I Hate to say it.

You know it baby. We are steadily taking them out of commission here in Iraq on a daily basis. We have many of their US conspirators under constant surveillance. Security is tight all over. But I am scared for my kids if everyone doesn't realize the severity of this Jihad movement and take it more seriously.

Since the shocking incident(9/11 event),most americans are scared to go out anymore, especially if anyone could be a dare-die terror man !

Therefore,
(For those who believe in christ)"do not worry about tomorow for tomorow will worry about itself"

(personally i think the next attack will be on the white house, who knows?)

Sweat heart, our world is better off without these kinds of bastards in it. These bastareds thum their noses at the rest of world. At least the Russians and Chinese are willing to sit down and reason together with us.

We did it in Japan, can we do it in Iran? Nuke um till they glow!!!

There is a difference between being scared and being concerned and vigilant. If you run scared, the terrorists win. You can't live your life that way....that's what the spineless, gutless scum wants.....
